Based at the Leeming Bar depot Karen was one of the five drivers to undergo the pilot programme and also Baltic Trainings first female delivery driver to participate in the NVQ.

Karen commented on her experience with Baltic training by saying “I found the NVQ very interesting and it went well on the day of assessment. My assessor Paul Oates made me feel at ease and I was amazed at how much I actually do in my job that meets the NVQ criteria”.

Karen has now asked Baltic Training for further information on our Skills for Life programme and hopes to brush up on her Literacy and Numeracy skills.
