What is Driver CPC Training?

The Driver CPC is for LGV drivers who drive professionally throughout the UK. It is also a requirement of the EU Directive 2003, which is designed to improve skills of LGV drivers throughout their working life.

There are two parts to the Driver CPC legislation:

  • The initial qualification that must be achieved by new LGV drivers to enable them to use their licence professionally
  • Periodic training needs to be undertaken every 5 years, and consists of 35 hour
